Definition: What is said or reported; gossip, rumour.
Alright class, settle down, let’s take a look today,
At the word “fame,” and what it truly may say!
The dictionary gives us a helpful clue,
“Gossip, rumor” – that's part of what we view.
But let’s dig a little deeper, you see,
Fame isn’t just whispers for you or me.
It’s more than just talk, a murmur in the air,
It’s when your name is known, beyond compare!
Think of a singer whose music fills the stage,
Or an athlete winning, turning a new page.
They've gained attention, noticed far and wide,
Their deeds and actions, cannot be denied.
So “fame” means recognition, a spotlight bright,
A feeling of being known with all your might!
It can come from kindness, or a skill so grand,
But remember, class, it’s built by helping hand.
Does that make sense? Any questions to share?
