Definition: The acromiodes are two bones located in the upper part of the elbow that are involved in the motion of the arm. The first one is called the acromioid process, which is responsible for moving the humerus (shin) along the forearm and the second bone is called the acromiodes (the shoulders), which is also involved in the shoulder joint.
