Admittable

Definition: In the Greek New Testament, "admissible" has three different meanings: 1. Admissible to receive or accept (1 John 2:7) 2. To be accepted without examination or discrimination (Mark 9:43) 3. To be admitted as a person who is not in opposition to God's will but rather conforms to it The word "admissibility" specifically refers to the ability of someone to enter, join, or be admitted into something; to permit or allow. It doesn't mean one can be accepted (which means being approved, granted permission for, or being included), but if you could accept something then you'd be admitted. For example, Jesus said, "But that which I will not deny [admissibility], yet what I do deny [admissible], I do to fulfill the Law." (Matthew 10:46) He does not say that he can't accept God's commandments or rules but instead says he has the authority to deny them. This means that Jesus was a believer in the law and therefore could not be considered a rejecter of it. The Bible also uses this idea when discussing the concept of "admissibility." For instance, verse 42 of Hebrews states: "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." This phrase translates to "there exists only one god," implying that Jesus was admissible to all people because he was a son of the same Father.
