Definition: The term "ambra" in English comes from a Greek root that means "to stir." The original meaning was used by ancient Egyptians to describe the action of stirring up or stirring up something, especially with the intention to cause harm or injury. In the Bible, however, the word "ambra" is not used for this purpose. Rather, it refers specifically to the act of causing someone's life to be destroyed or ruined, either physically, mentally, morally, spiritually, financially, or otherwise. It may also involve intentionally deceiving others into believing that one has caused another's death. The Greek roots "ambra" and "amphora" are often used in the New Testament (in particular, Acts 6:10-29) to describe various situations of deceitful behavior, including murder, fraud, theft, and deception.
