Definition: To request (information, or an answer to a question).
Alright class, settle down and letโs take a look!
We've got "asked" on the board today, itโs a tricky little word, you see.
The dictionary gives us a clue, quite clear for you and me.
It says โto request,โ that's part of the key,
Information or answers, if you wish to decree!
Think about it this way: when someone
asks
you something new,
Theyโre really wanting a response, honest and true!
Like asking "What's your name?" or โHow are you feeling today?โ
You're putting forth a question โ that's what 'asked' has to say!
Itโs not just
doing
the asking, itโs the act of needing something more.
So, โaskedโ means to request, and then open up your door...
To answer back with care, and let your knowledge flow!
Does that make sense? Any questions before we move on slow?
