Definition: The shore of a body of water, especially when sandy or pebbly.
Alright class, settle down and listen close,
Let’s talk about ‘beach,’ as everyone knows!
The dictionary gives us a lovely clue,
“The shore of a body of water, it’s true!”
Think of the ocean, so vast and blue,
Where waves crash gently, fresh and new.
Or maybe a lake, serene and bright,
Reflecting the sun with shimmering light.
A ‘beach’ is that land, soft and wide,
With sand or pebbles you might find inside!
It’s where seashells sparkle, a beautiful sight,
And children build castles with all of their might!
So remember this lesson, sweet and clear,
‘Beach’ means the shoreline, banishing fear –
Of not knowing what it truly is, my dear!
