Definition: Fables are stories that use irony, satire and/or humor to reveal moral lessons. A story can be either a fable or an epic poem; it can also be considered part of literature as well. The most famous examples include "the Old Man and the Sea," "The Importance of Being Earnest" and "Charlotte's Web."
