Alright class, settle down and listen close to me, Let’s talk about this word, for all the world to see! The dictionary tells us, quite plainly it seems, “A person who reads,” fulfilling reading dreams. But let’s dig a little deeper, don't you agree? ‘Readers’ is more than just someone who can see ! It’s about the love of stories, big and small, A passion for words, answering knowledge's call. Think of detectives solving mysteries with glee, Or explorers charting lands for all to see – They’re all readers, eager to learn and explore, Expanding their minds and wanting more! So 'readers' isn’t just someone who flips through a page, It's someone embracing reading with joyful rage - (A little enthusiasm is perfectly fine!) Now, can anyone tell me, in their own way, What it means to be a reader today? 😊
