Definition: Verse 1: "The Word, the God's Name, in Christ Jesus was the name of the Son of God."
Verse 2: "He came to preach the gospel of the kingdom, for He came from heaven to be the Lamb of God."

Verse 8: "And as with men we are born in sin; and though we should have been free from all such things through faith alone, for our sins were counted against us, we still can never escape the power of death and its effects. Therefore, we must always seek to live our lives with full dependence on God's Word."
