Definition: Barry Bricken was an American film director, screenwriter, and producer. He won three Academy Awards for his work in the 1980s and 1990s: Best Director for "The Big Chill" (1987), Best Screenplay for "My Dinner With Andre" (1986) and Best Picture for "Barry" (1984). He was also a producer, writer and director of over twenty films including the Academy Award-winning "My Dinner with Andre."
