Definition: The word "acesodynous" refers to an element that is very cold in temperature, resembling a human, but unlike humans it has no head or arms. The word was first used by a German chemist Carl Wilhelm Schmiedeberg in 1843 and he named the elements "Aceodynuses", which are also known as "cold atoms". They were also referred to as "cold atoms" until the term "acesodynous" became more commonly used. The cold element is composed of a single electron, so it has no body or head. It can have up to 15 electrons in its outermost shell and the atom does not form a nucleus because it cannot get close enough to fill an inner shell as a nucleus would. As a result, it behaves very differently from other atoms.
