Definition: The word "adbe stock" means that an entity or person owns shares in another, which they hold in their own name. In other words, a share in an adbe (an institution's equity), representing one of its outstanding stocks. A shareholder, or an individual holding shares in the company, is entitled to receive dividends from the corporation and, in the case of adbes, also voting rights on the board of directors. Adbes often use "stock" interchangeably with "share", but it is a legal term used for their specific purpose.
