Definition: Adenogenesis refers to the formation of a fetal kidney from the embryonic lung. During fertilization, the blastocyst splits into two่ๅ๏ผeach with a single nucleus and an entire embryo. The blastocyst then divides to form one or more blastozoopes๏ผๅณๅ่๏ผ. Then these individual embryo nuclei unite by a process called fusion of the nuclear material. Fusion is often accompanied by cell division, where several nuclei merge to make a new nucleus. A "fetal kidney" (kidney-like structure) forms from this fusion.
